The BlackBerry maker's chief executive said he will present the board with his plan for company's future in just a matter of weeks. The German-born executive, who took over from two longstanding co-CEOs on Saturday, said his plans for RIM would be "significant" though he did not divulge details in an interview with Reuters. Thu, 26 Jan 2012 22:00:17 +0100 House Republicans railed against the Obama Administration Wednesday during an investigative hearing on General Motors' Chevy Volt, after a probe conducted by the federal auto safety agency ruled that the electric cars' batteries are not prone to causing fires. "The Chevrolet Volt is safe to drive and it has been safe to drive the whole time," asserted David Strickland, head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
